Beyoncé to launch new album in June

Crazy in Love singer plans to release fourth studio album this summer.

In late June, Crazy in Love singer Beyoncé Knowles is planning to launch her fourth album since the beginning her solo career in 2003, her first since 2008’s I Am…Sasha Fierce, reports Music News.

Last year, the former lead singer of Destiny’s Child confided to MTV that her next album would be different because she would combine all the styles she likes, “R&B, pop, rock” into “my own little gumbo of music.”

Sony Australia’s Denis Handling had the chance to hear six songs from the upcoming album and told Sydney’s Sunday Telegraph: “These songs – the best description I can give is groundbreaking – she’s gone to another level.” He also mentioned that the pop star was planning a tour.

“She wants to do a big tour off the back of this record, which will include Australia.”

In the works since 2009, album producers and songwriters include Ne-Yo, The Dream, Symbolyc One, Diplo, Switch, and Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins, among others.
