Bitter Reunion for Destiny’s Child

Destiny’s Child will be back together again for an occasion that singer Kelly Rowland is less than thrilled about.

Rowland is furious about having to go to Chicago with fellow group members, Beyoncé Knowles and Michelle Williams. The women are facing charges of copyright infringement for their song, Cater 2 U.

The singer blames Beyoncé’s father for the lawsuit, claiming that it stems from his tactics to further his daughter’s financial gain.

One source explained, "Matthew [Knowles] has a long history of trying to get songwriters to add Beyoncé’s name to songs she didn’t compose, just so she gets publishing royalties. That information eventually became widely known, and now anyone who wants to accuse Kelly or Destiny’s Child of stealing material has ammunition to file a lawsuit. Kelly is livid."

Previously, Rowland had hired Matthew Knowles as manager, but she cut their business ties last January. The source confirms that she and Beyoncé remained on good terms at the beginning, but now the situation has become very tense since Rowland has pointed the finger at Matthew Knowles.
