According to Billboard, the band’s next release will have some social and political themes. With a launch planned for sometime in the year 2007, members of the group are hoping not to alienate their fan base with the thought-provoking songs. The Black Eyed Peas released their last album, Monkey Business, in 2005.
Twelve songs have already been recorded, and band member Will.i.am. added, "We’ll probably do another 30 or 40 songs."
The next album has not yet been titled. The Black Eyed Peas has also released a DVD entitled Live from Sydney to Vegas, and are also nominated in the best group category for the next Grammy Awards.
