Black Eyed Peas to play Michael Jackson tribute concert

Hip hop group joining star-studded lineup of performers at Michael Forever.

With just two weeks to go before Michael Forever, the great tribute concert to honor the memory of her son, Katherine Jackson can now count on the participation of two other important artists, the Black Eyed Peas and Jennifer Hudson, reports MTV.

Hosted by Oscar winner Jamie Foxx, the lineup for the October 8 concert in Cardiff, Wales, is also slated to feature performances by Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Leona Lewis, Ne-Yo, Craig David, Pixie Lott, Alexandra Burke, Alien Ant Farm and Motown legend Smokey Robinson. Pregnant pop queen Beyoncé will make an appearance via a pre-taped satellite segment.

The presence of the Black Eyed Peas should also put to rest the rumors of a breakup, which was started by Kanye West earlier this week.

Janet, Jermaine and Randy Jackson will not be attending the tribute concert, and have questioned the timing of the show, which will take place at the same time as the manslaughter trial of Jackson’s physician Dr. Conrad Murray.
