Blur Planning a Tour

The group Blur is seriously considering a tour, which might include stops in the United States.

According to Billboard, Blur is planning to give summer concerts in the US and Europe, in addition to several shows lined up in England, notably the Glastonbury Festival.

Steve Homer, the V.P. of Live Nation, Blur’s concert promoter, confirmed that the members of the group want to play in several countries this summer. "They have been rehearsing for some time now, for several months. They are talking about some American shows still in the same time frame. There are possibilities of some European ones as well," Homer revealed.

Among the official dates scheduled is a show in France during the Les Nuits de Fourviere festival on July 5.

The double compilation album, Midlife: A Beginner’s Guide To Blur, features 25 of the group’s biggest hits and will be released on June 15.
