Bob Marley’s Home Made Into National Monument

The Kingston, Jamaica residence of legendary raggae star Bob Marley, has been declared a national monument.

The news was announced to coincide with what would have been the deceased singer’s 61st birthday.

The home, which was tranformed into a recording studio (Tuff Gong Studio), is visited each year by millions of fans.  Bob Marley died in Florida in 1981 of cancer.
