Bob Marley’s Remains May be Dug Up

Rita Marley mentioned to BBC that she would like to bring him back to his "spiritual residence".  This ceremony may take place next February, as a way of underlining his 60th birthday.

"We are working on bringing his remains to Ethiopia," she said. "It is part of Bob’s own mission."

Rita Marley would like to rebury her late husband’s body in Shashemene, located approximately 250 km south of the Ethiopian capital, Addid Ababa.

Bob Marley was born in St. Ann, Jamaica in 1945.  He died of cancer in 1981.
