Bollywood treatment for Britney Spears remix

I Wanna Go remix features Indian artists.

Pop princess Britney Spears is again drawing inspiration from Bollywood, adding an Indian sound – and guest artists – to her remixed single I Wanna Go, reports Music News.

For the new track, Spears has recruited Indian singer Sonu Nigam. A very popular artist in Asia, Nigam has appeared on the soundtracks to a number of Bollywood films – and even acted in a few himself.

"So excited about having Sonu on ‘I Wanna Go’. His vocals add such a different feel which I love!" Spears enthused. "Watch out Bollywood, it’s Britney and Sonu!"

The two artists decided to work together because they have "huge international audiences yet touch different communities across the globe," explained the Spears team.

The new track will also feature DJ Lloyd, the Bombay Bounce, who bills himself as India’s number one DJ.

This marks the second time Spears has turned to Asia for inspiration. The singer recently remixed her hit single Till The World Ends with a Punjabi breakdown and guest vocals by Lomaticc and Sunny Brown.
