Bon Jovi plans to take a break after tour

Lead rock singer admits he needs a long break when tour ends next summer.

Lead rock singer Jon Bon Jovi, 48, admits that he’s not as young as he used to be, and is planning to take a long hiatus at the end of his tour next summer, after the band plays their last Circle tour gig in their New Jersey home state on July 31, 2011.

The sheer magnitude of the tour’s 138 concerts in 30 different countries has made the singer stop and take stock. He’s exhausted and is rethinking his plans for the second half of 2011.

Although the singer insists he won’t be retiring anytime soon. “For an old man who has no plastic surgery, still has all his own hair and wears a 30-inch waist, I’m doing OK."

Bon Jovi will perform six Canadia concert dates in 2011: two in Toronto on Valentine’s February 14 and 15, two in Montreal on February 18 and 19, and two in Vancouver on March 25 and 26.
