Bon Jovi to stream concert live

First 30 minutes of Munich concert online this Sunday, June 12.

On November 8, some 550 movie theaters showed Bon Jovi’s New Jersey concert live, and the group plans to repeat the experience this Sunday for the first 30 minutes of their Munich gig, but this time they will be streaming live on the Web.

The free concert will begin at 1 pm Eastern time on Sunday, June 12 when the New Jersey rockers take the stage of the Olympic Stadium in Munich in front of an estimated 80,000 fans. With the help of Ustream, fans will be able to watch the band from the comfort of their own home.

Bon Jovi has already confirmed they are planning to take a two-year break after this tour, which began in February 2010 and will conclude July 31 in Lisbon, Portugal.

Guitarist Richie Sambora, who recently returned from a stay in rehab, will rejoin the European tour. The Munich show will act as a special preview for the European tour, kicking off in Zagreb June 8th, and finishing at Lisbon’s Parque De Belavista.

Nearing three decades into an incredible career, Bon Jovi shows no sign of slowing down. Globally, the Grammy Award-winning band has sold more than 125 million albums, and performed more than 2,700 concerts in over 50 countries for more than 35 million fans.
