Bono Gets a New Responsibility
According to the Associated Press, Bono, 46, has been invited to edit the July issue of Vanity Fair magazine, and it’s African theme. The U2 singer, who also recently created Project RED, will be the first-ever guest editor of the publication.
Bono has said that he wants Africa to appear as an adventure rather than burden, and hopes to bring the lives and faces of the country to the rest of the world.
Last May, Bono was also be the guest editor of the British newspaper The Independent.
Vanity Fair’s July issue will cover much of Africa’s music, arts, and literature.
