Bono to Sing for Haiti
The natural disaster struck Port-au-Prince, Haiti last Tuesday. Now, several artists are coming together to encourage people to give generously to help the country to recover.
Actor George Clooney is launching a telethon that will air on a dozen American television networks this Friday (January 22). Already, some big names from the music world, including Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys and Bono, have agreed to take part in the charity event.
The telethon, being called Hope for Haiti, can also count on performances from Sting and Christina Aguilera. Wyclef Jean, who is a native of the Caribbean country, will help host the event with Clooney.
