After already starring in Troy, which was inspired by Homer’s The Iliad, Pitt may be joining the cast of another film inspired by the ancient writer and poet.
The film will be directed by George Miller (Happy Feet) and will follow Odysseus’ return home after ten years at war. Pitt will also serve as one of the film’s producers through his company, Plan B.
Pitt is currently shooting Inglourious Basterds. We can next see him share the screen with Cate Blanchett and Tilda Swinton in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, opening in theatres on December 25.
