Pitt, 43, made an appearance on the Today show, and revealed his new, ambitious project, Make It Right, which will help victims of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. Many houses, valued at $150 000 will be built in the neighbourhood, Ninth Ward, New Orleans.
Pitt, who donated $9.5 million and participated in a fundraising campaign to raise more money expressed, "I’m hoping we can start here and expand all over New Orleans."
Pitt’s partner, Angelina Jolie, visited the site last weekend with their daughter Zahara. Although the project Make It Right is important to Pitt, he maintains that his priority is his family.
