Pitt met the famous director Tuesday (July 15) to discuss a future project together. Tarantino would like Pitt to play the starring role (Aldo Raine) in the movie Inglorious Bastards.
According to Variety, Tarantino will also be meeting with Leonardo DiCaprio on Thursday (July 17) to offer him the part of Hans Landa.
If Pitt and DiCaprio accept the parts, it will be the first time for each actor to work with Tarantino. Pitt had a small role in True Romance (1993), which was written by Tarantino.
Inglorious Bastards will start shooting this fall in Germany and France, where Pitt and his family are currently residing.
In the meantime, Pitt can be seen in Burn After Reading which will hit theatres on September 12, followed by The Curious Case of Benjamin Button on December 19.
