Pitt has donated $100 000 US to support the cause of gay marriage, reports FemaleFirst.
Previously, the actor revealed that he wouldn’t marry Angelina Jolie until everyone in America who wished to be married had the legal right to do so, including same-sex couples.
Today, the star decided to give money to help fight California’s Proposition 8, which would annul the rights of homosexual couples to marry in that state. Pitt’s donation is the most significant support from a celebrity that the anti-Proposition 8 campaign has received.
