Actor Brad Renfro, who died last week at the age of 25, had a secret son who lives in Japan with his mother.
Renfro’s family confirmed that his son spent time with him before the actor died. The family refused to reveal the boy’s identity. The boy’s grandmother was determined to protect her grandson’s identity from the media.
She stated, "We did expect this (level of media attention) because people didn’t know he had a son. But we’re very thankful Brad got to see his son before he died."
