A British tabloid reported this weekend that Hollywood’s most glamorous couple, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, are on the brink of separation. It claims the two actors have hired lawyers to iron out shared custody of their six kids.
People magazine calls this information false. According to a source close to the couple, this is completely untrue.
"Everything is fine", says the source.
This has been a very busy time for the couple, finishing films, spending time with their family and doing charity work. On January 2, Jolie and Pitt shared a romantic dinner at French restaurant Le Perigord. "It was wonderful to see a couple so much in love," the source adds.
The two actors are now in Los Angeles working on pre-production for their next films. Jolie will appear in The Tourist and Pitt will do Lost City of Z.
On Friday (January 22), Pitt appeared on the Hope for Haïti telethon organized by his good friend George Clooney, but Jolie was in New York doing a photo shoot for Vanity Fair magazine.
Brad Pitt was noticeably absent from the Screen Actors Guild Awards where his movie Inglorious Basterds took home the award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
