Fraser will play the lead role in the film, directed by Tom Vaughan (What Happens in Vegas).
Ford has already confirmed his participation in the movie.
Crowley is the true story of John and Aileen Crowley, whose two children suffer from a rare genetic disease. However, John continues to have faith that a cure will be found. The story was inspired by an article that appeared in The Wall Street Journal, and the Geeta Anand book, "The Cure."
Filming is set to begin in April in Poland.
Brendan Fraser can also be seen in Inkheart, opening in theatres on January 23.
