Ghalib discussed his relationship with People. Despite the rumours that the couple broke up and that Spears got a restraining order against the photographer, Ghalib told Entertainment Tonight and The Insider that his relationship with the star was "far from over." The two were spotted together later that day.
Ghalib added that he was not paid for the two interviews, and does not have an agreement with Spears to sell photos of her. He claimed "No, never. In time I think people will understand that."
When asked if he was planning to marry Spears, Ghalib replied, "I’d be lying if I said no."
