American pop star, Britney Spears, announced Hold it Against Me will be the first single from her upcoming as-yet-untitled album that is set to launch in March, reports PopJustice.com.
The song was produced by Max Martin and Dr. Luke, two hitmakers who have helped propel Spears to the top of the charts. They’ve also worked with pop songstresses like Ke$ha and Katy Perry.
Last December 2, on her 29th birthday, Britney Spears thanked all the fans who took the time to send her birthday wishes, and took the opportunity to announce the arrival of her new album in March.
"I’m almost done with my new album and it will be coming out this March," she said on Twitter. "I AM IN L-O-V-E WITH IT!"
The singer promises the album will be a great success, hinting about her work with the producing duo just a few weeks ago tweeting, "Just finished recording a monster with @TheDoctorLuke and #MaxMartin. Get ready…"
