Britney Spears denies it

Britney Spears says her former security agent is just trying to make a quick buck.

Britney Spears came out swinging against a lawsuit filed Wednesday (September 8). The suit is by her former security guard, Fernando Flores. Us magazine reports he accuses the Oops!… I Did It Again singer of sexual and psychological harassment.

Here’s the message that appeared on the pop star’s website yesterday (September 9): "This lawsuit is another unfortunate situation where someone is trying to take advantage of the Spears family and make a name for himself."

In the lawsuit, Flores says Spears exposed herself in front of him several times and engaged in sexual acts in his presence. He even accused her of hitting her two young sons.

As if that was not enough, Flores also claims that Spears regularly insulted him and constantly threatened to fire him.

The website statement went on to add: "The Department of Children and Family Services conducted a proper investigation surrounding Mr. Flores’ accusations and have closed the case without any further action. Ms. Spears and her attorneys have every expectation that this matter will be dismissed by the courts."

Britney’s ex, Kevin Federline, rushed to her defence. Through his lawyer, he commented that the lawsuit was a cash grab and had no basis in reality.
