The singer was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles last Thursday after refusing to relinquish her two boys to their father Kevin Federline after a visit with them. FemaleFirst reported that she was discharged from the hospital shortly after having a visit from the celebrity talk show host and psychologist Dr. Phil McGraw.
After his visit with Spears, Dr. Phil told the media, "She was released moments before my arrival and was packing when I entered the room. I visited her for around an hour before I walked with her to her car. I am very concerned for her."
The TV psychologist also revealed that he is convinced that Spears needs medical and psychological help.
Following this incident, Federline was given sole custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James by Judge Scott Gordon. Spears’s visits have been suspended.
