Britney Spears forbids sons to follow in her footsteps

Britney Spears categorically refuses to allow sons to launch careers in the entertainment industry.

In an interview in the August issue of Cosmo, Britney Spears says there’s no question of her two sons following in her footsteps by launching careers in Hollywood.

"If my sons told me they wanted to be in the entertainment business, I’d lock them in their rooms until they turned 30," she says.

The 28-year-old singer refuses to allow her sons, Sean Preston, aged 4, and Jayden James, 3, to be affected by the dark side of celebrity and fame that she has struggled with since her youth.

She says she doesn’t want her children to be stalked by paparazzi and for their every movement to be watched, even though she knew that this was the price of fame when she chose to become a singer.

In addition to her fears about her sons’ future career choices, Spears says she isn’t at all thrilled with the idea of having to explain sexuality to her kids.

"I’m dreading the moment when my sons ask me how babies are made,"she says.

Spears is currently working on a promising new album with producer/composer Danja Darkchild, who says that his collaboration with Spears is among the most inspiring of his career, and promises very uptempo, energetic record for the singer.
