According to a report by People, the singer has not kept her sons overnight since last January, when she was forced into medical treatment at Cedars-Sinai.
A closed hearing was held on Tuesday (June 24) with Spears and her ex-husband, Kevin Federline. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Superior Court revealed that a parenting coach was also on hand to talk about the star’s progress.
Details of the hearing were not disclosed, but a source stated that Spears will now be allowed to keep her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, overnight.
The next custody and visitation hearing will be on July 15.
