According to various American sources, Allure and Vanity magazines are both hoping to obtain an exclusive tell-all interview with the pop star.
In the past few months, the young woman underwent treatment at a detoxification centre and is now hoping to revive her career.
A representative from Allure said, "We would love to have Britney, but nothing is scheduled yet."
The interview would not be released until November, when Spears plans to release her next disc.
Meanwhile, Spears, 25, was stopped for speeding on Sunset Boulevard last Friday.
