In the magazine People, she explained, "This may sound weird, but I miss traveling," Spears tells People magazine. "I miss the road, seeing different places and being with the dancers and having fun. That feeling of being on the stage, knowing it’s your best — I love that. I needed a break. I needed to be hungry again."
The 24 year old woman, who gave birth to her first child in September is recording a new album. It will be available at the end of the year. Spears has not had any new albums since the release of Greatest Hits: My Perogative in 2004.
