According to her website, Spears will be releasing her next disc under the Jive label before the end of 2007.
The past years have been filled with changes for the life of the Toxic singer. She married, became the mother of two sons, and filed for a divorce from rapper Kevin Federline. Through it all, Spears feels that she is now more mature.
The star is aware that one of her fan websites, WorldofBritney.com, will soon be closing down due to her recent racy behaviour. Spears, 25, wrote on her site, "I am working hard to release the new album sometime later this year, but the date is of course not certain yet. I look forward to coming back this year bigger and better than ever, and to also reaching out to my fans on a more personal level."
The last album from Spears, In The Zone, sold more than three million copies in the United States.
