Britney Spears reschedules Las Vegas shows after on-stage fall

‘Toxic’ hitmaker Britney Spears has been forced to reschedule her Las Vegas shows after recently taking a tumble on stage and injuring her ankle.

Britney Spears has been forced to reschedule her Las Vegas shows this weekend following her recent on-stage fall.

The ‘Toxic’ hitmaker took a dramatic mid-song tumble earlier this week during her ‘Britney: Piece of Me’ show at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, injuring her ankle in the process, and she’s revealed doctors have told her to reschedule her planned performances over the coming weekend.

She tweeted: ”Breaks my heart to share this news. After hurting my ankle last night my doctor has advised me not to perform this weekend.”

Britney, 33, thanked her followers for their kind messages since her fall and revealed she’d announce the rescheduled show dates in due course.

Britney said: ”Your kind words mean everything to me! I’m rescheduling this weekend’s shows and will let ya’ll know when we have the new dates. xoxo (sic)”

Shortly after the incident occurred, Britney took to Twitter to reassure fans that she wasn’t injured too badly, describing her fall as a ”little scare”.

Britney – whose residency was recently named Best Overall Show in Las Vegas – wrote on Twitter: ”Thank you for all of the sweet wishes! Had a little scare on stage tonight with my ankle but I’m ok! (sic)”
