Both producers are on tap to work on Britney Spears’ seventh studio album. The star has worked with Danja before. He produced songs on her last two albums, including 2007’s Gimme More.
Danja talked about their latest collaboration on Rap-Up TV: "I’m definitely gonna do my part and try to make it hard-hitting, uptempo, high-energy. That’s what I think we need and that’s what I’m gonna shoot for."
As for Darkchild, he is also working on new material for Britney. This is not the first time he has sent new songs her way. The producer offered Spears the chance to make Telephone. She turned it down and Lady Gaga and Beyoncé grabbed it and turned it into a mega-hit.
He talked to MTV about their collaboration: "Hopefully, you know, she’ll get these hits and not let anyone else get ’em and keep ’em for herself. Y’know what I mean."
No official release date has been announced for the new album.
