Brittany Murphy’s husband plans to sue Warner Bros.

Brittany Murphy’s husband claims that Warner Brothers is responsible for her death.

Brittany Murphy’s widower, Simon Monjack, plans to sue Warner Bros. Pictures for his wife’s wrongful death.

According to Daily Beats, the studio fired Murphy from the sequel to the animated film Happy Feet only two weeks before her December 20 death at age 32. She was supposed to voice the character of Gloria. "She was devastated. They killed her," Monjack says.

Even though the cause of death has not been revealed, Monjack and his mother-in-law, Sharon Murphy, are convinced. They think Brittany had a heart attack because her contract was terminated. According to them, Hollywood is a cruel city.

Producer and screenwriter Monjack confides that his marriage to Murphy took many by surprise, “I was never the right guy to marry Brittany. She was supposed to marry a young dashing star with a million-dollar smile. She wasn’t supposed to end up with a balding, heavy guy who doesn’t play by their rules."

He reveals that he has a lot of money, the couple always kept separate accounts and he offered millions of dollars in gifts to his wife. He does not believe that their relationship has affected the career of the actress. "Brittany’s films had grossed $100 million before she met me," he insists. "But her career had ended before then…She trusted some people who she shouldn’t have."
