The star revealed this information to American magazine Entertainment Weekly. Brosnan, 52, stated that he received this news by telephone. "One phone call, that’s all it took! I never felt I had complete ownership over Bond."
Brosnan, began playing the part of the secret agent Bond in the movie GoldenEye, in 1995. He expressed not feeling he had completed his work with James Bond.
The next James Bond movie Casino Royal, will be directed by Martin Campbell (The Mask of Zorro, GoldenEye).
