Bruce Springsteen Wins a Golden Globe

Bruce Springsteen and A. R. Rahman were honoured for their music during the Golden Globes ceremony.

Last night (January 11), Bruce Springsteen received a Golden Globe award in the Best Original Song category for the piece The Wrestler, while A.R. Rahman won the prize for Best Original Score for the film Slumdog Millionaire, reports Billboard.

This was Springsteen’s second Golden Globe, after he was honoured in 1994 for his song, Streets of Philadelphia.

The song The Wrestler was released digitally last month, and will appear on the singer’s new album, Working on a Dream, to be released on January 27.

For Rahman, this was a first-time Golden Globe win.
