According to Contactmusic, the actor wants to have more direct contact with his fans. The Die Hard star explained that because the production time is so long for films, he sometimes loses interest in his own movies before they hit the theatres.
Willis, 51, has done more than 70 films, and is now interested in doing live theatre, possibly something by American author Sam Shepherd.
Willis added, "But theatre is more immediate and you know straight away if you are entertaining the audience or not."
