Sacha Baron Cohen’s new film, Brüno, was banned in the Ukraine.

Sacha Baron Cohen’s new film, Brüno, will not be seen in the Ukraine. FemaleFirst reports that the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture has banned the release of the film in that country.

The following was written in a letter to the film distributor, Sinergia, "The Ukrainian Ministry of Culture has decided to ban all showings of this film on Ukrainian territory."

In the letter, they fear that the film will affect the morals of the country. It also states that the movie includes obscene language, unjustified scenes of genitals and homosexual sex, sadism and anti-social behavior.

Despite the controversy,  Brüno has been very successful, it grossed 63.5 million dollars at the box office last weekend.
