Bryan Adams touring U.S. and U.K.

Canadian rocker goes on the road to promote new Bare Bones live hits album.

On November 23, Bryan Adams, one of the most acclaimed musicians in the history of Canadian music, will release Bare Bones, a collection of 20 songs recorded live in concert, according to soundspike.com.

In anticipation of his new release, he is planning a tour with stops in England and the United States. Adams will play one week in England, beginning October 13, and after a short break, begin his American performances in Redding, California on November 7 and head east for another 12 dates to a final performance in Youngstown, Ohio on December 2.

“As the tour rolled across the USA and Canada, many people were asking for a recording of the songs as they had just heard in the show," he explained in a news release.

"I like the way the songs carry themselves warts and all, bare-boned, without the original arrangements of a full band or an orchestra. These recordings only have the voices and handclaps of the fans in the audience and the ambiance of the room to lift them.”

The last album released by the award-winning artist was 11 in 2008.
