The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Howard has finally sold her first screenplay, The Originals, to Universal and Imagine. Her father, Ron Howard, may direct this project that was also written with Dane Charbeneau.
The story follows a group of young people who go to New York for the weekend, when they learn that the teacher that shaped their childhood has fallen into a mysterious coma.
The project is still in development, and it is unknown whether Bryce Dallas Howard will have a role in the film.
She is currently starring in the film Terminator Salvation, which is now in theatres, and will soon begin filming the drama The Look of Real with her father.
