Calvin Harris finds Cheryl Cole’s success "gratifying".

The Scottish DJ is keen to go and watch the singer’s UK arena tour because he would love to see her perform her hit single ‘Call My Name’ – which he produced – with a "big production", even though he expects it would be a "bizarre" experience to see the full scale of the setting.

He told Capital FM: "It’s always quite bizarre seeing a pop act with all the big production and all that kind of stuff, performing a song that you did.

"It’s always going to be quite good, gratifying."

Calvin is particularly keen to attend one of the gigs because Tinchy Stryder is the support act.

Asked if he plans to see the show, he told Capital FM: "I heard Tinchy Stryder’s supporting her which is an interesting choice, so I’d probably go and see that if I’ve got a day. It’d be good to see it."

Cheryl’s tour begins in Belfast tonight (03.10.12).

Calvin releases a new album, ’18 months’, on October 29.
