Canada Goose lightens up for spring

Canada Goose – made popular by their fashionable and functional line of extreme-cold winter coats – have announced a new, lighter collection of jackets for the spring season, reports FashionMag.

The band new collection of jackets will feature seven exciting pieces produced exclusively in Canada, using the company’s renowned Arctic Tech fabric and insulating down.

The CEO of Canada Goose, Dani Reiss, commented on the new line, saying: "The collection will expand the reach of the brand this spring and is completely in line with our quality outdoor clothing."

Among the stylish and utilitarian new offerings are hooded jackets and vests, available in both male and female versions. A unique and smart feminine touch rounds out the collection: the Summerside skirt.

All spring items will be made available in white and black and will be on sale as early as March 2012 at select retailers.

Canada Goose got their start in Toronto, Ontario more than 50 years ago with a modest line of jackets and woolen shirts. Today, the internationally-recognized eco-conscious apparel maker forms important partnerships with non-profit and conservationist groups such as Polar Bears International (PBI) and The Conservation Alliance.
