Cannes Festival News

Organisers of the 60th annual Cannes Film Festival have announced this year’s film selections for competition.

Hong Kong director Kar Wai Wong will have his film, My Blueberry Nights, shown for the festival’s opening.  The festival will take place from May 16-28.

Directors and stars alike will be participating in the festival.  Some of those who will be attending include Norah Jones, Jude Law, Natalie Portman, Rachel Weisz, George Clooney, Matt Damon, Al Pacino, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Joaquin Phoenix, Mark Wahlberg, Tommy Lee Jones, Jake Gyllenhaal and Robert Downey Jr.
