According to FemaleFirst, Bruni’s mother, Marisa Bruni confirmed the news after the French President asked for her daughter’s hand in marriage. Sarkozy held a press conference today to clarify his relationship with the Italian beauty, who has previously dated Mick Jagger and Vincent Perez. Sarkozy said his relationship is serious and he is foreseeing marriage.
A wedding date has not been announced, but there are rumours that it may be on February 8 or 9. Sarkozy met Bruni at a dinner among friends, shortly after his divorce from his second wife Cecilia.
