French president Nicolas Sarkozy’s wife, Carla Bruni, will launch her third album on July 21 in France, as well as in other European countries, reported Cyberpresse.ca.
The album consists of 14 folk-like songs, a majority of which Bruni composed herself.
Among songs on the album, Bruni will feature a popular Bob Dylan song, an Italian song, and a piece inspired by Michel Houellebecq called La possibilité d’une île.
Bruni’s new yet untitled album is close to completion. The songs have been recorded, however she is now putting on the finishing touches.
The disc, produced by Dominique Blanc-Francard, which is under the Naïve label, will be released on July 21.
Bruni’s last album entitled No Promises was launched in early 2007.
