Singer Carrie Underwood lands her first beauty contract. People reports she is the first-ever North American celebrity ambassador for Olay Skin Care products.
Underwood says she has used Olay products for at least 10 years. She added she couldn’t have picked a better brand to make her debut in the cosmetic world.
The country star released a statement: "As a little girl I remember my mom always using the original Olay Beauty Fluid and encouraging my sisters and I to take care of our skin. I love that Olay has managed to change with the times, yet stay in touch with women of all ages who want affordable skin care products that do what they promise."
Carrie Underwood will star in a new photo and commercial campaign for Olay, called Challenge What’s Possible. It will launch later this year.
The newlywed (who recently tied the knot with hockey player Mike Fisher) is getting ready to kick off her new Play on Tour in the fall.
