A selfie with the Loch Ness Monster is worth £50,000.
The cash prize has been offered by the annual Baxters Loch Ness Marathon, but people are only eligible for the money if they’re taking part in the event.
Malcom Sutherland – the race director – said the idea stemmed from observing the number of participants who stop to take pictures.
He said: ”With so many selfies being taken on race day, surely if she is out there someone will be able to get one with her in the background.”
All Nessie selfies taken during the event will be sent to an expert panel at the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, who will judge its authenticity.
