At the Australian premiere of the movie Elizabeth: The Golden Age, Blanchett told the Sydney Morning Herald that was expecting a baby. The blonde beauty revealed that the baby is due in April.
When a journalist told her that rumours say she is having a boy, she replied, "You know more than me. It’s early days yet."
Blanchett, 38, and her husband, Andrew Upton, are already parents of two boys, Dashiell John, 5, and Roman Robert, 3. The couple will be spending more time in Australia, where they are working at the Sydney Theatre Company.
Despite her pregnancy, Blanchett is keeping busy. She can be seen in the movies The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, opposite Brad Pitt, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, as well as, I’m Not There.
