Apparently irritated at not being the center of attention, or perhaps frightened at the idea of facing another candidate, Donald Trump reacted sharply against George Clooney following the publication of an op-ed by the actor in the New York Times… yet against Joe Biden.

In the article, which had the effect of a small political bombshell, Clooney advised President Joe Biden to drop his bid for the 2024 presidential election, the actor’s opinions apparently didn’t sit well with Trump.

On Truth Social, Trump criticized George Clooney, calling him a “fake movie actor” and claiming he’d never come close to starring in a major motion picture.

George Clooney, famous for his support of the Democratic Party and having recently helped raise $30 million for Joe Biden’s campaign, said in an op-ed that age had changed Biden and it was time to choose another candidate.

Trump attacked Clooney, accusing him of turning his back on Biden like a rat, while adding that he and Biden were similar. Trump questioned Clooney’s competence on any subject and criticized the actor for taking up the Democratic argument that Biden, whom he called the worst president in US history, had saved democracy.

It’s worth remembering that in his New York Times article earlier this week, George Clooney expressed his admiration and respect for Joe Biden, as Senator, Vice President and President. He emphasized their friendship and his confidence in Biden, affirming his belief in the latter’s morality and character.

However, Clooney expressed concern about Biden’s abilities, observing a notable decline since the last election. He cited Biden’s disappointing performance in a recent debate with Trump to support his view that Biden is no longer the dynamic leader he once supported. Clooney claimed to have observed Biden’s weaknesses himself a few weeks earlier, at a fundraising event for Biden’s campaign.

In his complaints against the actor, Trump ultimately suggests that Clooney should give up politics and return to television.

Advice that could also apply to himself, when you think about it.

According to La Presse, in Quebec, the Minister, who was questioned on the subject on several occasions, admitted that the hypothesis could nevertheless become reality.

An answer that sows hope of finding her at the event.

As for the woman herself, she was surprised to hear the rumour circulating, and responded to it at the premiere of her documentary in New York on June 17, 2024.

However, she would not have denied or affirmed the hypothesis.

We’ll know the outcome at the ceremony on the Seine in Paris on July 26.

Following O.J. Simpson’s death, the FBI released all the files accumulated on the former suspect over the years, in accordance with its procedures. These documents provide a detailed insight into one of the most high-profile criminal investigations in the United States.

The FBI report contains crucial information on the evidence gathering and analysis carried out during the investigation, including the examination of fibers from O.J. Simpson’s white Ford Bronco. It also includes details of forensic tests and other examinations carried out at the crime scene.

The files also include handwritten notes relating to a brand of shoes that had particularly interested investigators at the time. Investigators went to Italy to investigate the production and distribution of Bruno Magli shoes. Traces of blood were found on the brand’s Lorenzo and Lyon models at the crime scene.

O.J. Simpson, who died of prostate cancer at the age of 76 last April, was initially acquitted of criminal murder by a jury in 1995, but was later found liable in a civil trial over the wrongful deaths of Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman. In 1997, he was ordered to pay $33.5 million to the families of the two victims.

On Tuesday, Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden, was found guilty of three counts of illegal firearms possession. Following a week-long trial in Wilmington, Delaware, the jury delivered its verdict after approximately three hours of deliberation on the second day. The conviction follows an incident in October 2018, in which Hunter Biden allegedly lied on a federal application form about his drug use when purchasing a Colt revolver. Three counts were filed, including making false statements about Biden’s addiction, certifying that statements made by him are true, and possessing a firearm illegally.

During the trial, Hunter Biden’s drug addiction problems were scrutinized. Although Hunter Biden’s lawyer argued that the prosecution had failed to provide tangible evidence of Hunter Biden’s crack cocaine use during the month of the gun’s purchase and possession, as no witnesses had seen Hunter use drugs during this period, text messages on his phone contradicted this argument.

These messages indicated communications about drug trafficking and drug use shortly after the gun purchase. In the end, the jury agreed with the prosecutors.

According to CNN, sources in the courtroom described Hunter Biden’s family and friends as shocked by the verdict.

A few days before the verdict, when asked about the possibility of his son being found guilty, President Joe Biden had stated that he would not pardon his son, underlining his commitment to due process.

This verdict is likely to have major repercussions on the political scene, given that Hunter Biden had been on the Republican radar for several months.

Hunter faces up to 25 years in prison and a maximum fine of $750,000. The judge indicated that a sentencing hearing is generally scheduled for 120 days after the verdict, which would place that hearing in mid-October, before Election Day.

This verdict will most likely be appealed by Hunter Biden and his team.

On June 4, the Wisconsin Attorney General indicted three former Trump allies for their involvement in the establishment of a fake voter registration list intended to distort the results of the 2020 elections.

According to court documents, Kenneth Chesebro, Jim Troupis and Mike Roman are charged with one count each. They are alleged to have delivered forged Wisconsin election documents to a Pennsylvania congressional representative, who in turn was to forward them to former Vice President Mike Pence on January 6, 2021.

The three defendants in this case are due to appear in court on September 19. They face one count punishable by up to six years in prison and $10,000 in fines.

Wisconsin joins Arizona, Georgia, Michigan and Nevada in investigating similar conspiracies to create fake voters.
