Real Madrid has completely ridiculed Drake

Drake just lost a small fortune, $833,333.85, on Barcelona losing to Real Madrid.

The 35-year-old rapper bet a big amount on Arsenal, who were playing Leeds United, and Barcelona, who were fighting against Real Madrid.

While Arsenal won 1-0, Barcelona lost 3-1. Thus, due to this setback, Drake lost a whopping 867,190 euros, which comes to 833,333.85 US dollars.

If Champagne Papi had won his bet, his harvest in American dollars would have been 3.9 million dollars. A nice amount that would have added to Drake’s very deep pockets, but instead he lost several thousand dollars.

To celebrate this “occasion” (for Real), the Madrid Twitter account allowed itself a nice little joke towards Drizzy:

Just like that, God’s Plan is one of the most popular songs in Drake’s repertoire, which is a near perfect nod.

The Price family had a surprise for Jeff Petry

The Montreal Canadiens took on the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday night, marking Jeff Petry ‘s first game in black and yellow against his former teammates.

For this first duel, Petry could count on two proud supporters, Millie and Angela Price, who had built a beautiful poster for the occasion.

Instagram

The Price certainly miss the Petry family since they spent a lot of time with it. Let’s remember that Angela and Julie Petry own a clothing company(Line Change) together.

The result of the poster is really “beautiful”!

Instagram

The cutest picture is without a doubt this one, when Jeff Petry came to greet little Millie and Angela. As for Liv Anniston, she was in Facetime since she goes to school. Moments that are good for the eyes!

Instagram

As for Petry’s game, he had no points, got three penalties and had a plus-1 rating in nearly 23 minutes of use.

A great win for the CH!

We miss Carey even more now!

Kings fan gets his nose broken by a puck

A lifelong Los Angeles Kings fan, who has been a season ticket holder for a long time, was hit in the face with a puck, breaking his nose and leaving a cut on his forehead.

Jeremy Aaronson, the name of the fan, was in attendance for the Kings’ opening game (against the Vegas Golden Knights), accompanied by his 11-year-old son, and this sequence occurred during the warm-up period.

Although the doctors at Crypto.com Arena tried to treat him, Aaronson had to head to the hospital as the injuries required surgery. In the end, he missed his Kings’ opening game…

Aaronson is doing well, but will need further treatment from doctors once his nose swells.

In his son’s case, he stayed at the Kings ‘ home with some of his dad’s friends to watch the game… which the Golden Knights won 4-3.

Blink-182 member sings a Blink-182 hit with the Colorado Avalanche crowd

Mark Hoppus, one of the singers and founding members of the band Blink-182, marked the Colorado Avalanche’s opening game during banner night by singing the hit “All the Small Things” with the crowd.

Note that this song was originally sung by Tom DeLonge, who has been back with the band for a few days now in preparation for a tour and album in 2023.

That said, the reason Hoppus was on hand to accompany the crowd’s singing was because of the team’s fans who went viral with their Blink-182 chants in the playoffs.

Hoppus, who just recently beat cancer, actually opened up to Av‘s fans:

“What a season, what a team! Congratulations, you did it! Stanley Cup champions! Thank you so much for taking our group with you; it means a lot to us. Let’s do it again next season!”

The Leafs have a margin of… $4

The next year is crucial for the Toronto Leafs organization.

It’s make or break and the team has been able to qualify for the playoffs in its last five years.

The problem? They have never been able to get past the first round.

That’s the problem in Toronto, especially when you consider how much talent is on this roster!

A guy who scored 60 goals last year in Auston Matthews, another who came close to 100 points last year in Mitch Marner and so on. What is obvious, however, is that by the time we get to the playoffs… The guys don’t seem to want to win. It’s not that, really. It’s that guys aren’t willing to sacrifice to win. You don’t see their star players going for the puck, you don’t see their star players going to the corner to do the dirty work … Anyway. So, you know what I mean.

So, that being said… It’s all-in this season for team GM Kyle Dubas’ squad.

And, he’s doing everything he can to make sure his club doesn’t make the same mistakes.

Right now, the club has $4 left on its cap hit.

4$!

It sometimes costs more buying a bag of chips at the corner store…

It’s tight, right? Maybe not as tight as me in my old pants, but…OK.

Ms. Price presented her favorites directly in the Montreal boutique, while offering the layouts for each style.

By the way, the official launch of this line will take place on Wednesday, October 12, during the Montreal Canadiens’ season opener against the Toronto Maple Leafs at the Bell Centre.

Remember that when you buy a piece of this line of clothing, 10% of the sales will go directly to the Canadiens Children’s Foundation, which is a great initiative.

Warriors star takes superman punch on teammate

During a practice session of the Golden State Warriors, Stephen Curry ‘s team that won the last NBA championship, Draymond Green went for a “superman punch” on the face of his teammate Jordan Poole.

The site TMZ has shared an exclusive video where we can see the act of violence of one of the stars of this group, Draymond Green. A powerful right that earned an internal sanction for Day-Day, obviously.

Before the varlope, you can perceive that something is going on between the two teammates, exchanges of words not very sweet. Green approached Poole in order to most likely intensify his trashtalk, then the latter pushed him violently, only to receive a massive punch in the face.

Luckily for Poole, staff members rushed to stop the scene to prevent Green from finishing his fight.

The team clarified that Poole suffered no injuries in the sequence, and that the situation was resolved as a result of the brouhaha. Those are the only details that were delivered by the franchise…which admittedly needs to continue its investigation to find the individual who took this video.

Aaron Judge speaks about his 62nd home run ball

American League home run king Aaron Judge spoke out about the historic ball he catapulted with his mighty guns (arms) into the stands at Globe Life Field on Tuesday night.

Here’s what Judge said with his legendary class about the catch:

“It would be great to get it back, but it’s a memory for a fan. He made a great catch (…)”

Number 99 says he wants the historic ball badly, but as of now, the new owner of the ball, Cory Youmans, has no desire to part with it.

Youmans, who works in finance in Dallas, told reporters at the event that he had not yet thought about the ball’s future, but for now he would keep it.

I guess he wants to raise the stakes as high as he can?

According to several specialists, this ball could be worth about two million dollars!

Aaron Judge: A fan willing to do anything for the 62nd ball

On Tuesday night, Aaron Judge hit his 62nd pitch into the stands against the Rangers in Texas, becoming the long ball king in American League history.

Not surprisingly, many fans were willing to risk a lot to get their hands on a historic ball valued in the seven figures.

One fan in particular stood out more than others…

A live video of this fanatic shows his determination to get this authentic collector’s item!

https://twitter.com/markkberger/status/1577451206846431234

Didn’t see it? Look closely on the left, a fan jumps down believing that the ball was going to end up there because of a potential “bounce” somewhere.

The result of this run to this historic ball is this: the fan who caught this ball from Judge ‘s 62 is named Cory Youmans, a vice president of Fisher Investments.

The ball was caught precisely in Section 31, Row 1, Seat Number 3, at Globe Life Field. It was authenticated and autographed, so everything was done by the book.
