The many fans of the series Game of Thrones will be happy to know that the new series House of the Dragon will be presented on HBO next summer.

The highly anticipated prequel to the fantasy series will premiere on August 21, the broadcaster announced.

House of the Dragon is based on the novel Fire & Blood by authorGeorge R.R. Martin. The series will take place some 200 years before the events of the original series. The 10 episodes will follow House Targaryen, the blond, dragon-riding clan from which Daenerys Targaryen descends.

For this new series, HBO relies among others on Emma D’Arcy(Daenerys Targaryen), who made her name in the TV seriesTruth Seekers andHanna, among others. In addition to D’Arcy, Matt Smith(The Crown, Doctor Who) will play Prince Daemon Targaryen, son of King Viserys and younger brother of the princess, Steve Toussaint (Prince of Persia) will playLord Corlys Velaryon, and Olivia Cooke will play Alicent Hightower.

HBO Max is currently working on five projects related to Game of Thrones.

Taylor Hawkins was found dead in a hotel in Colombia last Friday, just days before his band, the Foo Fighters, was to headline the Lollapalooza festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

According to the Attorney General of Colombia, 10 substances were found in the body Taylor Hawkins, including THC, antidepressants, benzodiazepines and opioids.

The legendary Phil Collins gave his last concert. The drummer and singer is retiring due to health problems.

Stranger still, the gala continued as if nothing had happened afterwards, with a few comments from presenters, including P. Diddy, but nothing more.

Worse, the Academy even awarded the Best Actor Oscar to Will Smith for his role in King Richard moments later!

Smith made an almost incoherent speech, apologizing to everyone but Chris Rock, and trying to link the Williams family and the movie he had just won to his misadventure.

It should be noted that many still believe that this is a stunt given the violence of the case, while others want to see Will Smith face justice for his action.

The Los Angeles Police Department commented, saying that the victim in the case chose not to press charges.
