The bizarre images of Kim Jong-Un in Russia stun the world

North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un traveled by train to Russia to meet Vladimir Putin.

It was the first meeting between the two in four years.

A visit that raised a few eyebrows… and set off passions quickly when the news was confirmed, with CNN switching from its nightly standby mode to live coverage early last night to analyze the doings of the two tyrants.

There are many questions about what’s next for these two ostracized nations, but two facts are clear.

Kim Jong-Un is looking for international friendship and support wherever he can find it, and Vladimir Putin seems determined to give it to him… because he needs weapons to continue his invasion of Ukraine, which almost nobody else in the world supports.

Again, Trump is found guilty of defamation against E. Jean Carroll!

Donald Trump has once again been found guilty of defamation against E. Jean Carroll, and a jury will be convened next January to determine the amount of damages, which will be added to the five million dollars already awarded to Carroll in the first trial she won last May.

In 2019, Carroll published a memoir entitled What Do We Need Men For? A Modest Proposal, in which she details various experiences with men throughout her life.

In it, Carroll alleged that Donald Trump sexually assaulted her in the dressing room of a Bergdorf Goodman department store in the mid-1990s. She claimed that Trump, at the time a real estate mogul and TV personality, had forcibly kissed and sexually assaulted her.

Trump vehemently denied the allegations and said he had never met Carroll, despite a photo showing them together at a social event in the 1980s.

Carroll filed a defamation lawsuit against Donald Trump in November 2019, claiming that he had falsely accused her of lying about the incident and damaged her reputation.

In October 2020, the US Department of Justice, under the Trump administration, sought to intervene in the trial and defend Trump, arguing that he was acting in his official capacity as president when he denied Carroll’s allegations, but to no avail. The trial finally took place last May.

At the conclusion of the civil trial, Donald Trump was found guilty of sexually assaulting Carroll in the 1990s (not guilty of rape) and of defaming her in comments made in 2019 and 2022.

In addition, now, the judge also allowed E. Jean Carroll to include comments made by Trump at a CNN Town Hall hosted by Kaitlan Collins last May, just days after she lost her case against Carroll, in the second case.

“This woman, I don’t know her. I never met her. I have no idea who she is. I had a picture taken years ago with her and her husband, nice guy John Johnson. He was a newscaster, very nice man. She called him an ape, happens to be African-American. Called him an ape… the judge wouldn’t allow us to put that in. Her dog or her cat was named vagina, the judge wouldn’t allow to put that in. All these things, but with her, they can put in anything… Access Hollywood,” the former president said.

The trial scheduled to determine the amount of damages will take place on January 15, 2024.

Donald Trump has a new hearing date to his already busy judicial calendar!

Burning Man: A look back at a muddy disaster!

Thousands of festival-goers finally left the site of the Burning Man Festival in the Nevada desert, after spending several days stuck in the mud left by the torrential rains that hit the region a few days earlier.

Once a year, tens of thousands of people gather in Black Rock City, the temporary metropolis created for the festival, and the 2023 edition was no exception.

Over 73,000 people were present in the desert as the festival, scheduled to run from Sunday August 27 to Monday September 4, was abruptly halted midway through!

CaptureCNN

The situation quickly became complicated when torrential rains fell on Friday evening, leaving an impressive amount of mud on the entire festival site, making it impossible to evacuate thousands of recreational vehicles, which were stranded for several days.

Celebrities also found themselves stuck in the mud. Diplo and Chris Rock, in particular, were evacuated by fans after walking more than 8 km!

CaptureCNN

As more than 60,000 people rushed to the exit in their vehicles, when evacuations were finally authorized, the majority found themselves stuck again, this time in a line that lasted more than 7 hours, and kept getting longer, so much so that the organizers of the disastrous event begged them to stay an extra day to give everyone time to get out.

A Burning Man edition that will certainly be hard to forget for many!

Rudy Giuliani loses libel suit against two election workers

Former Donald Trump lawyer and ex-New York mayor Rudy Giuliani has just lost a defamation lawsuit brought by two Georgia election workers, after Giuliani made false allegations of ballot tampering in Georgia against the two women, repeatedly, after the 2020 elections.

“What we went through after the 2020 election was a living nightmare,” said the two workers, a mother and daughter, after the judge ruled in their favor.

Giuliani will also have to pay the workers nearly $90,000 to cover legal fees in the case, in addition to being confirmed a trial date in 2024 to decide how much the workers could seek in damages as a result of these allegations.

An amount that could well reach millions of dollars!

The two women, who had to leave their home under the FBI’s advice, say they’ve been living in fear of going to the supermarket or simply going out since the repeated attacks by Trump’s lawyer that began when the latter released a surveillance video of the vote count in Atlanta calling them conspirators and ballot stuffers, accusations that Georgia election officials have of course refuted.

Getty Images

“There is nowhere I feel safe. Nowhere. Do you know how it feels to have the president of the United States target you?” one of the victims claimed in a video testimony.

Giuliani himself admitted last month that he had made defamatory remarks about the women workers. The former lawyer acknowledged and did not disputed their claims that he had tarnished their reputations.

Fulton County Sheriff’s Office

The legal troubles are far from over for Donald Trump’s former lawyer.

It’s a far cry from the days of America’s Mayor.

Is Vladimir Putin a “dead man walking”?

Russian President Vladimir Putin has reportedly been living on borrowed time since the death of Wagner band leader Yevgeny Prigozhin on August 23, Radar Online reports.

According to at least one known source, Professor Anthony Glees, political scientist and Director of European Studies at Brunel University, Wagner’s troops are seeking revenge for the death of their leader, and Putin should be “very careful” on future trips.

This warning is particularly valid for Putin’s visit to China next October, he believes.

WennCover

“His presidential jet could be shot down over the steppes of eastern Russia by Wagner group members who may have access to a Buk missile system amongst their arsenal,” Glees explains first.

“He’s a dead man walking,” concludes the professor.

On August 23, a plane suddenly crashed in northern Russia with the leader of the Wagner military group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, on board.

CaptureCNN

Shortly before his death, the leader of the mercenary group had helped the Russians advance into Ukraine since the start of the invasion, then organized a full-scale rebellion against the Kremlin, claiming that Russian troops were targeting the mercenaries. Yevgeny Prigozhin decided to turn back when he entered Moscow, citing an agreement reached between him and Vladimir Putin, a deal brokered by the Belarusian president, while many experts claimed that Prigozhin’s hours were now numbered!

And indeed, his presumed death is widely considered by observers to have been at Putin’s direction… as well as according to Prigozhin’s troops, who could now seek revenge for the alleged murder of their leader.

New search at the BTK Killer’s residence

Authorities in Kansas have reportedly raided one of the former residences of Dennis Rader, the serial killer better known as the BTK Killer, in a bid to find new clues in unsolved cases.

According to CNN, the search would be aimed at trying to establish links between Rader and numerous unsolved cases in the area.

“The Osage County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to follow leads in unsolved missing persons and murder cases possibly related to BTK.” Osage County Undersheriff Gary Upton told CNN.

Getty Images

In particular, police and Park City authorities reportedly searched the site of Rader’s former home in suburban Wichita, according to the undersheriff.

Certainly ranked among the worst serial killers in the U.S., Dennis Rader was arrested in 2005 for the murders of ten people between 1974 and 1991.

Letters sent by Rader, taunting the police while calling himself BTK, a terrifying acronym, to the media and police would eventually lead to his arrest. Rader lived a veritable double life, in addition to being married with two children, and had even been elected president of the board of Christ Lutheran Church in Wichita.

Hopefully, this latest search will provide answers for the families of the missing.

Trump: A key witness at Mar-A-Lago retracts his testimony

A person identified as Donald Trump’s Employee 4, who was a key witness in the case involving the secret documents illegally stored at Mar-A-Lago, has reportedly recently recanted his testimony in the indictment implicating Trump as well as two other defendants on record.

According to NBC News, Yuscil Taveras reportedly worked at the Mar-A-Lago golf club as director of information technology and was a key material witness in the events leading up to the alleged attempt to erase surveillance camera footage, with the FBI ordering Trump to provide all surveillance footage from Mar-A-Lago.

While under investigation for possible perjury charges, Taveras reportedly changed lawyers, who were previously paid by Trump’s Save America PAC, according to new documents submitted by Jack Smith.

CaptureCNN

“Immediately after receiving new counsel, Trump Employee 4 recanted his earlier false testimony and provided information that implicated Nauta, [Carlos] De Oliveira and Trump in efforts to suppress security camera footage, as set forth in the superseding indictment,” reads the new document filed in court by Smith.

According to prosecutors on the case, Carlos De Oliveira, Trump’s property manager and co-defendant on the case, attempted to convince Taveras to delete the Mar-a-Lago security footage.

A trial has been set for May 20, 2024, in the case of the classified Mar-a-Lago documents, and Donald J. Trump has pleaded not guilty to 40 counts under the Espionage Act.
