12 squirrel monkeys stolen!

12 squirrel monkeys from a Louisiana zoo are missing after an alleged “targeted” theft. The monkeys from Zoosiana were reportedly kidnapped late last month.

According to reports circulating about the theft, the monkeys were taken by an individual who showed up at the zoo on January 28.

“The individual targeted the small primate facilities and specifically compromised the squirrel monkey exhibit. The individual unfortunately managed to steal 12 squirrel monkeys!” zoo officials noted.

The monkeys that were not kidnapped were quickly evaluated by the Zoosiana veterinarian and the animal care team. The monkeys were found to have no apparent health problems, which is good news.

The investigation is ongoing, but there are few clues at this time.

This theft of squirrel monkeys came just days after two tamarin monkeys from the Dallas Zoo were stolen and found in the closet of an abandoned house.

Ukrainian pee-wee players dazzled to land in Quebec!

The pee-wee team from Ukraine has arrived in Quebec and one of the youngsters in the group, like all his comrades, can’t believe what is happening to him. This young man, Maksym Shtepa, who has just realized his dream of coming to Canada, had eyes that shone, just like his teammates, as reported by the Journal de Québec.

Of course, many Quebec media gathered at the Montreal airport to welcome this pee-wee team from Ukraine, and some of them were very moved to see them get off the plane.

TEAM UKRAINE SELECT – BIENVENUE À QUÉBEC!💙💛L’équipe est enfin arrivée et a profité d’un super accueil ce soir au Centre Vidéotron! Que l’aventure commence.🎉

Posted by Pee-Wee Quebec on Wednesday, February 1, 2023

It is important to remember that only a few weeks ago, these young people were scattered all over Europe, two of them in the middle of the war, and four others refugees in other countries. So, for them, coming to Quebec for the pee-wee tournament put these situations in second place. In Quebec, these young people form Team Ukraine Select.

To bring this team from the Montreal airport to Quebec City, a convoy of three vans picked them up and brought them back to Quebec City.

During the trip, Yehor Kosenko, one of the team’s coaches, asked about field hockey in Canada, leading to a discussion about the Montreal Canadiens. On the way, when the Ukrainians saw the Place Bell of the Laval Rocket, their eyes sparkled once again.

Let’s note that this Ukrainian team will once again be very excited when they attend the game between the Quebec Remparts and the Moncton Wildcats on Saturday afternoon!

Two monkeys from a zoo have been stolen!

Two monkeys at a Dallaszoo have reportedly been strangely abducted, according to the zoo. This would be the latest abduction in a string of “bizarre” disappearances at this Dallas zoo.

On Monday morning, zoo officials contacted Dallas authorities to file a complaint about the sudden disappearance.

The owners reportedly even have evidence of tampering in the restricted areas where the abducted monkeys were found.

An investigation is underway, and very few details are available at the time of writing.

In order to understand the context, it is important to underline that at the Dallas Zoo, several nebulous and peculiar things are going on, as a leopard escaped from its enclosure earlier this month… The leopard was eventually found, and its habitat was found to have been ransacked.

There havebeen two other nebulous incidents at this Dallas zoo in recent times, including an alleged violation of an enclosure housing langur monkeys, in addition to an endangered vulture found dead.

The whole thing has been called suspicious.

Could it be a repeat offender who wants to piss off the owners?

Megan Fox and MGK: It’s war!

During Super Bowl weekend, Megan Fox and her lover Machine Gun Kelly had a big fight, and the Transformers star reportedly immediately removed her engagement ring, People reports.

Fox is so upset that she has no desire to talk to MGK since the fight. In fact, she was scheduled to attend a performance by the artist at a Sports Illustrated party last Saturday, but she cancelled her plans instead because of the dispute.

It seems very serious as the 36-year-old deleted Kelly on Instagram to immediately follow Eminem (!), who had a big fight with MGK a few years ago.

However, in the end, Fox ended up deleting her Instagram account, but not before insulting Kelly a few times on the social by writing some not-so-subtle posts.

She also reacted to rumors that Kelly cheated on her with his band’s guitarist, Sophie Lloyd.

Note that Fox and Kelly’s respective representatives have yet to respond to requests for comment.

A 15 year old labrador is the adoptive father of 9 ducklings

A British Labrador retriever named Fred has adopted his third group of orphaned ducklings.

According to reports, Fred, who is 15 years old, has taken groups of orphaned ducklings under his wing several times. Isn ‘t that an unusual fact?

People actually stated that in 2018, when Fred was 10 years old, he acted as a “surrogate” parent to nine orphaned ducklings.

A year later, Mountfitchet Castle in England, which is Fred’s home, posted on the social network Facebook, that the labrador had taken care of another family of ducklings that no longer had parents.

And just recently, at the end of 2022, the old dog once again became the “dad” of a new batch of ducklings.

These ducklings have lost their mother who mysteriously disappeared from the castle grounds overnight, so who else but Fred to take care of them?

Syria: A baby is born under the rubble of the earthquake

A baby, a little girl who was named Aya, was born under the rubble of a house destroyed by an earthquake of magnitude 7.8, which occurred in Syria and Turkey earlier this week.

The mother, named Abu Hadiya, and her baby who was clinging to her by the umbilical cord, was found through pieces of concrete and metal destroyed a little more than ten hours after the earthquake.

Unfortunately, the mother was dead when rescuers found the family, the newborn and all the rest of the family. The baby’s father and the other four children in the house were also dead under the debris.

Another hour and she would have been dead, according to the doctors…

The miracle, of course, is that the baby survived, being taken immediately to the hospital for treatment, and where the doctors named her Aya (which means “a sign from God” or ”miracle”).

Since Aya was an orphan, she was adopted by her great-uncle, Salah al Badran, who will take her home with him as soon as she leaves the hospital.

In the video that has been circulating since this tragic event, we can see the rescuers carrying the baby, who is still alive, as we recall.

The Chinese spy balloon seems to be part of a larger surveillance operation

The spy balloon of Chinese origin is still the talk of the town because according to sources of American intelligence, it would be part of a very large Chinese military surveillance operation.

Still according to the information of the American intelligence, this recovered balloon was part of a program of surveillance initiated by the Chinese army, reports CNN.

https://twitter.com/CNN/status/1623148704923373569

Several such balloons have been, or are, in the sky to conduct a guided mission through China’s small Hainan province.

The United States does not know the number of balloons belonging to this Chinese province, but everything indicates that at least two dozen of the fleet would have traveled at least the top of five continents.

In fact, according to a report by an official familiar with the intelligence, several of the balloons were in U.S. airspace, but did not touch down on U.S. soil.

It should also be noted that the balloons that were “killed” were not all of the same design as the one that was destroyed off the coast of South Carolina last week. We would speak of multiple variations.

The current U.S. mission, of course, is to try to learn as much as possible about the intelligence that balloons can gather. U.S. intelligence wants to understand the technical capabilities of the balloon…

Meanwhile, China still maintains that it was a weather balloon launched off course, but the country still finds itself in crisis management.

Monstrous amount of cocaine found floating in the sea

New Zealand authorities seized no less than three tons of cocaine floating in the ocean. This discovery was made during one of the largest operations (Operation Hydros) in the country, CNN reports.

81 bundles of cocaine weighing 3.5 short tons were recovered directly from the Pacific Ocean, as police, customs and defense forces worked hand in hand for this Hydros operation.

According to one of the leaders of the police operation, this mountain of cocaine is valued at 318 million dollars (US).

For the moment, very little information has been released about it, but the police filed a press release last Wednesday, and it talked about the haul, while presenting several images.

Most of the packages recovered are marked with a four-leaf clover, but on one of them shows a Batman logo. All of these packages were actually destined for Australia, according to an international syndicate.

We are talking about one of the largest seizures of illegal drugs in this country and this one, the drug, will be destroyed, after the navy brought it back after six days at sea.

No arrests have been made, but an international investigation is underway.
